Welded Plate-and-Block Heat Exchanger Overview

A compact welded plate-and-block heat exchanger featuring a fully welded plate core and removable side panels. The construction provides access to both circuits for inspection, mechanical cleaning and high-pressure water cleaning while avoiding conventional inter-plate elastomer gaskets in the primary heat transfer core.

The welded plate block delivers high heat transfer efficiency in a compact footprint, and the removable side panels open both flow circuits for servicing — making the design well suited to demanding process duties and high-fouling services.
